Welcome to the PET LOUNGE STUDIOS Product Development Blog!

PET LOUNGE STUDIOS aim is to provide consumer products that stimulate the imagination and straddle the border between pets and humans. This distinction of what is for us and what is for our pets has been redefined, and may make you a little jealous. Pet Lounge Studios is a green, eco-friendly manufacturer of Modern Luxury Pet Furniture & Accessories.

The purpose behind the PET LOUNGE STUDIOS blog is to educate the consumer on the design and development processes involved in bringing our products to the market. We want to give our readers a chance to voice their thoughts and opinions while contributing to the unlimited possibilities of going green with pet furniture.

We will post images of conceptual sketches, prototypes, images and videos of our overseas factories, the manufacturing process starting with the harvesting of the raw bamboo from deep within the forests and all the way through to the packaging. I promise you, it will be a very exciting journey!

Designer

Born in Fort Lauderdale Florida and a graduate of the prestigious Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah Georgia, Furniture & Product Designer, Corey Drew has been making his contribution to the design world. In 2005 He was recognized as a “new and up and coming designer,” by Niche Magazine. Between 2005 and 2008 Corey traveled extensively throughout Asia designing furniture pieces for the exciting high-end hospitality industry and the bamboo housewares market. Gathered by his journeys abroad and studies of mid-century modern design, He has brought back with him a unique style that has now been introduced to the pet industry and exclusively at Pet Lounge Studios. Corey plays a key role within Pet Lounge Studios, where he is constantly developing new design concepts and then prototyping them. During manufacturing he travels overseas to work intimately with the company’s factories to perfect the process and assure the highest level of quality and detail. “It is very difficult to explain the feeling that I get when a product that I have designed, out of passion, makes it through all the stages of development and then is finally manufactured. We have had an enormous response from the public for our products, and to hear people use words like, innovative, unique and modern makes them a success. Needless to say, the public gives us the motivation to make the next designs to be introduced even better, so it is my responsibility to do just that,” says Corey.
